Booking the Band

Southern Stardust Big Band specializes in dance music for parties, weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, and other celebrations.  We have over 500 songs in our repertoire and can design a program that fits your event.  From pure ballroom, up-tempo swing, nostalgia for Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington, through to low-key easy listening, Southern Stardust has it all.

There are many great Big Bands in Calgary, but only Southern Stardust specializes in dance music and ballroom.

We have played many venues in the Calgary area, including the Palliser Hotel, the Westin, the Radisson, the Glencoe Club, Heritage Pointe golf club, the Red & White Club, the Polish Canadian Cultural Centre, and many more hotels, restaurants and community halls in Calgary, Airdrie, Bragg Creek, Red Deer, Medicine Hat and Swift Current.

Starting at $3,000 for a 3-hour set, we are more affordable than you might have thought.
